Investigation Summary
On February 27, 2009, Employee #1 was harvesting oranges. As he stood on a steel-pipe ladder and placed oranges into a sack that hung from his shoulder, Employee #1 fell approximately 12 feet to the ground. During the fall the sack that was strapped to his shoulder wrapped around his neck, fracturing it. Employee #1 died.
