Forkklift Driver Is Killed in Crushing Accident

On January 5, 2010, a worker was retrieving reusable totes with a Crown Stand-up Forklift. After the totes were engaged on the forks, the worker backed-up the forklift. While the worker was backing up, his upper torso was outside the frame of the forklift. As the worker continued to backup, he was crushed and killed between the frame of the forklift and a stack of nearby totes.
