Employee killed in fall down mechanical shaft

On February 13, 2008, Employee #1, a foreman with Centerline Construction Company, Inc., was in charge of a crew of approximately 8 workers that were installing ceiling grids on the ninth floor of the Constellation Energy building in Baltimore, MD, during a renovation project to prepare office space for leasing. Employee #1 was last seen at the job site at approximately 12:15 p.m. His body was discovered the next day after his wife reported that he did not come home from work. He died after apparently falling 60 ft down a mechanical shaft.
