Employee Is Caught Between Forklifts, Later Dies

At approximately 7:45 a.m. on August 8, 2008, employees at the jobsite were attempting to jump start a disabled forklift by using another forklift at the jobsite. The first forklift 'lost' its brakes. Employee #1 was standing near the area of the disabled forklift's battery box and was pinned in between the forklifts when the first forklift rolled into the running forklift. A coworker was in the operator's seat of the second forklift and was not able to stop the first forklift.
