Employee Is Injured When Pallet Shifted and He Fell to Floor

On February 21, 2008, Employee #1 was sitting on the six foot level of a section of storage racks handing 44 inch long by 29 inch wide pieces of wooden doors that were stacked on that level. A pallet of doors shifted and fell from the twelve foot level and got stuck between the six foot and eight foot levels, knocking Employee #1 to the cement floor of the warehouse. Employee #1 sustained head and spinal injuries, broken facial bones, and fractured ribs.
