Employee's Thumb Is Amputated in Pallet Jack Accident

On March 14, 2008, Employee #1 was utilizing a powered pallet jack to move parts in the area. As Employee #1 swung the handle around to move it, his right thumb was pinched between the forklift handle and a heavy fixture. Employee #1's thumb was amputated near the knuckle, and he was hospitalized.
