Investigation Summary
At approximately 9:45 p.m. on August 21, 2011, an employee, a truck driver, was stooped down checking the butterfly valve on his truck when he heard bulk cement dropping as it was loaded into first trailer. The employee decided to get clear of the trailer and stood up. When he did, he lost his balance and fell to the ground, fracturing his right tibia. The employee was hospitalized and treated for fractured leg.
