Employee dies of blood loss when pinned between two trucks i

On February 18, 2008, Employee #1 was standing between two company vehicles while work was being performed using a camera and a high pressure water line to evaluate sewer pipes. A vehicle came around a bend in the road heading north, and went past the flagman who had his "Stop" paddle facing traffic. The vehicle struck the rear of one of the company trucks, pushing it into the front of the other company truck. Employee became pinned between the two vehicles, crushing his legs. He died from loss of blood due to his injuries. It was company policy to have the two vehicles facing one another as a way to protect workers on the ground.
