Employee Experiences Heat-Related Illness

On April 12, 2008, Employee #1 was working outdoors at Zayante Vineyards, LLC, with temperature at 90 degrees F. Employee #1 was conducting a controlled burn of less than 1/3 acre. Employee #1 succumbed to heat-related illness and was transported to the local hospital by helicopter. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
