Employee Falls Onto Cement Tarmac from Elevated Platform

On March 7, 2009, Employee #1 was standing on an elevated work platform while attempting to change a skylight on a DC-3 aircraft. The platform was lifted into position by a forklift, and fell off the forks when the metal straps failed and broke. Employee #1 fell 12-14 feet onto the cement tarmac.
