Employee's Fingers Are Amputated in Conveyor

On May 8, 2008, Employee #1, an African Immigrant, was working under an agreement with the Archdiocese of Cleveland to provide employment in exchange for tax subsidies. There was a language barrier with Employee #1. Employee #1 was hospitalized with two amputated fingers when they were caught in the sprocket of an unguarded chain drive conveyor.
