Employee Is Killed in Fall from Ladder

On February 11, 2008, Employee #1 was conducting a tire audit in the Tire and Lube Express Department, using a mobile ladder stand. A coworker found Employee #1, unconscious, lying on the concrete floor at the bottom of the mobile ladder stand. He had fallen off the ladder stand, sustained multiple skull fractures and brain injury, and died as a result of the fall.
