Employee Is Crushed and Killed by Falling Tank

On September 6, 2007, an employee was working under a truck on the air tank. He had loosened the air tank from its supporting members and had the tank supported by a jack stand. The employee was on a mechanics crawler. He slid under the tank with the crawler and nudged the jack stand which dropped the tank onto the employee's head. The employee sustained fatal injury as the tank weighed over 100 lbs.
