Chipper Operator Dies from Falling Into Chipper
On January 23, 2009, Employee #1, a 31-year-old chipper operator, for Riverside Tie & Timber, turned the switch "off" at the diesel engine. He, however fell into the rotating belts of the chipper. Employee #1 died several days later due to temporal skull fracture.
