Employee Injures Back in Fall from Tree

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on September 27, 2007, Employee #1 was assisting two other employees in cutting down and removing tree from the front yard of a residential home. Employee #1 was standing on top of a tree branch 12 ft high, when it was hit by another part of the tree that was cut by two other employees. This caused Employee #1 to fall 12 ft to ground, injuring his back. Employee #1 suffered a fractured back and was hospitalized for a week.
