Employee's Head Is Lacerated When Struck by Panel

At approximately 11:40 a.m. on September 2, 2009, Employee #1 was working on a 6 ft step ladder measuring and marking a wall panel to drill snap tie holes. He was wearing a hard hat. The wall was braced in two locations and one of the 2 ft by 4 ft studs broke at the point of connection causing the panel to shift. The panel knocked Employee #1 off of the ladder and he lacerated his head. He was wearing a hard hat and was treated at the hospital and released.
