Employee Is Injured in Fall from Ladder, Later Dies

At approximately 10:50 a.m. on March 17, 2008, an employee was working an elevated location performing a drywall patch in the garage of a private residence utilizing a six foot step ladder. While climbing the ladder the employee slipped from approximately four feet and fell backwards hitting his head on the concrete floor below The employee was transported to San Ramon Valley Emergency Room. He was then transferred to Eden Hospital Hayward on March 20, 2008. The employee died on March 24, 2008.
