Employee Drowns

Employee #1, a counselor for people with developmental disabilities, was on a weekend boat outing with the people he monitored. Employee #1 decided to take a swim in the lake. Employee #1 refused a life vest when offered. Employee #1 was swimming without any complication for approximately twenty minutes when someone noticed Employee #1 in distress. One of the adults jumped into the lake to try to help Employee #1 but to no avail and Employee #1 drowned in an estimated thirteen feet of water.
