Employee Is Killed When Struck by Tire

On April 3, 2007, an employee was filling a tractor trailer tire with air, which he had leaned up against the tailgate of the service vehicle he was driving. The tire separated from the wheel and struck him in the head knocking him back against the truck behind him. The employee was killed.
