Employee Is Killed When Struck by Motor Vehicle on Highway

On July 21, 2008, Employee #1, a reporter for station WTOC, was attempting to gather news at an incident on Interstate 95. However, it was determined not to be newsworthy, and Employee #1 was attempting to return to his vehicle which was parked across the highway median. Employee #1 was struck by a south bound vehicle and was killed.
