Investigation Summary
At approximately 2:20 p.m. on July 14, 2008, Employee #1 was working at a dairy processing plant. He opened a 4-in. glass door on the Stork Dryer to bleed the line of 180 degree Fahrenheit water. The door is approximately 1 ft above the floor. When he closed the door the latch came off and water entered the top of his rubber boot, burning his right foot. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
