Employee Dies in Fall from Extension Ladder

On January 27, 2008, Employee #1 was climbing a 22 ft portable metal extension ladder that had been placed against the wall of a car wash business. When the ladder slipped backward, he fell to the ground. Employee #1 was airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital, where he died later that day from traumatic head injuries.
