Employee's rib fractured in fall while carrying beam

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on November 6, 2007, Employee #1, of Fast Demolition in San Diego, CA, was cleaning up debris at a demolition job. He was picking up and carrying 2-by-4 plywood beams across the site when he tripped and fell. He landed on a 2-by-4 and suffered a fractured rib. Employee #1 was transported by ambulance to UC-San Diego Medical Center.
