Employee's Foot Is Amputated While Clearing Jam

On January 15, 2007, Employee #1 was clearing a jam on an elevated conveyor. He stood on the structure of the conveyor while the conveyor was running. He was injured when his left foot slipped and became caught between a moving part and a steel brace. He was hospitalized for the amputation of his foot.
