Employee Is Killed When Caught Between Two Vehicles

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on October 17, 2007, Employee #1 was delivering a patient to a dialysis center. Employee #1 exited the nursing home van in order to assist the patient to exit the van. Employee #1 noticed the van was moving and made an attempt to get back into the van to stop it. The driver side door of the van struck another vehicle. Employee #1 was crushed between the driver side door and the interior chassis of the van. Employee #1 was pronounced dead at the scene.
