Employee Is Injured When Struck by Truck

At approximately 3:40 p.m. on May 17, 2007, Employee #1 was inspecting a repaired area of asphalt paving, 12 ft by 100 ft, on a closed lane of a 4 lane highway. A coworker was backing a pickup truck in this closed lane to check the smoothness of the paving repair. The truck struck Employee #1, who was hospitalized with a concussion.
