Investigation Summary
On March 26, 2007, an employee had connected the drop line to the chokers and then walked 49 feet up the hill along side the road line. The employee went ahead on the turn and was struck in the head by a log. He was found a few minutes later by a coworker. The employee was sitting on the ground and incoherent. The employee was transported by the crew down to the main road and taken to the hospital by management. The employee was admitted to the hospital and treated for a fractured skull.
