At approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 8, 2009, Employee #1 and a coworker were performing surveying duties on a public city street. Safety cones were placed around the affected employees. Traffic Control Procedures were in effect at the time. Employee #1 was wearing his reflective vest. Employee #1 was struck by an on-coming vehicle. Employee #1 suffered unspecified serious injuries and was hospitalized for approximately six days.
