Employee Trips and Falls Through Skylight

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on July 2, 2008, Employee #1 was unclogging a waste evacuation tube, located at the roof of a pressroom. He was working close to a Lane-Aire Mfg. Corp skylight (100 in. by 52in. by 10.5 in.). Employee #1 tripped over the skylight's curb and fell approximately 31 feet to a concrete floor. He sustained serious physical injuries. The employer, in the printing and publishing business, reported the serious injury at 1:34 p.m. on July 3, 2008.
