Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:00 p.m. on October 31, 2007, Employee #1, a superintendent with Performance Concrete, was working on the River Walk commercial construction project in Riverside, CA. He was walking at the site when he was struck from behind and run over by a privately-owned vehicle on private property. He suffered a fractured pelvis and severe contusions and abrasions between his knees and his chest. Paramedics responded and transported Employee #1 to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was treated for eight days. He was then transferred to Saddleback Hospital in Laguna Hills, CA, for an additional two days.
