Investigation Summary
At approximately 9:00 a.m. on October 29, 2007, Employee #1 was cutting up a used 2 by 4 floor brace at a construction site in Fawnskin, CA. He was holding a Bosch portable power-driven circular hand saw, model 1677MD, serial # 533388, in his right hand and the board in his left hand when the saw kicked back. The moving blade struck Employee #1's left hand. He sustained serious injuries to his finger(s), and was admitted to to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
