Employee Fractures Ribs in Fall from Ladder

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on July 26, 2007, Employee #1 was up on a 20-ft Werner fiberglass extension ladder placing chicken wire on an "I" beam to keep pigeons from roosting. The ladder's feet slid on pigeon droppings. Employee #1 fell approximately 12 ft with the ladder. Employee #1 sustained broken ribs and back and lung contusions and was hospitalized for five days.
