Employee's Fingers Are Amputated in Mill

On April 26, 2008, Employee #1, a mill operator, was cleaning out wet material from inside the dryer cyclone area. He reached up into the airlock, which had not been locked out and tagged out, and sustained amputations to the tops of three fingers of his right hand. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
