Employee burned in fall onto fresh hot asphalt

On September 10, 2007, Employee #1 and coworkers noticed a base sheet wrapped around the tire of a felt laying machine. He was trying to walk across fresh hot asphalt to fix the problem when he slipped and fell. He sustained burns to both hands and his left side, for which he was hospitalized.
