Employee's hand lacerated when circular saw kicks back

On August 2, 2007, Employee #1 was using a Skil saw to cut roof sheathing when, as he reached over, the saw became bound in the wood and kicked back, lacerating his left hand. The guard was in place and working at the time of the accident.
