Employee Pinned Between Two Trucks and Is Killed

Employee #1 was dropping off a FL70 Freightliner truck for maintenance. Employee #1 parked the truck next to a FL70 Freightliner truck that he was going to take. Employee #1 opened both doors of the FL70 Freightliner truck he was going to take, to air out the truck. While standing on the ground, Employee #1 reached in through the door of the FL70 Freightliner truck to start it. The truck lurched back, pinning Employee #1 between the two parked trucks. Employee #1 was killed. It was determined that this was not OSHA's jurisdiction. There were also no witnesses and no one else was exposed.
