Employee Falls to Lower Elevation and Later Dies

Employee #1, a foreman for a steel building erection company, fell from a steel beam, at a height of approximately 30 ft onto a concrete floor. Employee #1 was not wearing personal fall protection equipment. Employee #1 died in transit to the hospital.
