Employee Dies after Complaining of Being Ill

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on May 7, 2007, Employee #1, a press operator, was complaining of being sick. The employee was later found leaning against a wall in a hall near the bathrooms and First Aid Room by two other employees. Employee #1 asked for help and was helped by the two employees to the First Aid Room, where oxygen was administered. Another employee called Emergency Medical Services. The employee lost consciousness as the Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived. The Emergency Medical Services personnel administered CPR and shocked the employee's heart in efforts to revive him. Employee #1 was transported to the Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
