Investigation Summary
At approximately 1:25 p.m. on July 6, 2007, Employee #1 was a tree trimmer, working at the top of a tree. Coworkers found Employee #1 lying on the ground beneath the tree, unconscious. The electric trimmer that Employee #1 had been using was hanging on the 4,800 volt overhead power line. Employee #1 had apparently been shocked and then he fell from the tree. Employee #1 died at the hospital.
