Investigation Summary
On October 30, 2006, an employee was operating a rolling machine aboard a boat, when the rubber glove he was using became caught in the machine. The employee was issued the wrong type of glove for the operation. The employee was also not properly trained in the operation of the roller. He suffered an amputation of one fingertip, and crushing injuries to two other fingers.
