Employee Is Killed by Falling Tree

On September 1, 2006, the owner of the company was using a track hoe to knock down a 65-ft by 14-in. pine tree for a residential lot when the tree struck Employee #1 in the head. Employee #1 was pinned beneath the tree and pronounced dead at the scene.
