Employee's Fingers Injured When Struck by Rotating Blades

On April 14, 2007, Employee #1, a foreign exchange worker from the employer's Hiroshima, Japan location, was injured when he bypassed the guards on a bread dough dividing machine and tried to retrieve some raisins. The impact and shearing action of the moving plastic blades against his right hand resulted in laceration of his ring and middle fingers, and fracture of his index finger.
