Forklift Backs over Employee Causing Unspecified Fractures

Employee #1 was injured when he dismounted the Toyota-brand propane forklift truck that he was operating, Employee #1 left the forklift unattended while he was performing the paperwork part of his tasks. Employee #1 did not recall setting the emergency brake when he dismounted the vehicle. The forklift rolled backward approximately eight-to-ten feet before striking Employee #1 in his back. The impact of the forklift striking Employee #1's body caused unspecified fractures. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
