Employee fractures ankle in fall from joists

On October 12, 2006, Employee #1 was working from elevated joists at a construction site when he lost his balance and fell 9 ft 4 in. to the ground. He fractured his right ankle and was transported to a medical center, where he underwent surgery. Employee #1 was released approximately two days later.
