Employee Killed in Fall Through Floor Opening

On May 4, 2007, Employee #1, an architect, arrived alone to take measurements at an older home undergoing remodeling. The stairs had been removed earlier in the week by carpenters entering from below and the stair opening had not been covered or guarded. Employee #1 was killed when he fell into the basement, through the stair opening from main floor.
