Worker Suffers an Unspecified Fracture Falling from Scaffold

On October 27, 2006, an employee was descending from the third level of a scaffold (approximately 14 to 16 feet above ground) on the outside framing. He slipped, and fell against one of the guardrails, which collapsed. The employee fell about 9.5 ft to the surface of a retaining wall. The scaffold did not have installed ladders for safe climbing between levels. The worker suffered an unspecified fractured, and did not require hospitalization.
