Investigation Summary
On August 7, 2006, Employee #1 was working for a roofing and siding contractor. He was assigned to install felt paper on the roof of a two-story house located in San Jose, CA. While walking across the edge of the roof toward the access ladder, he slipped on the paper and fell about 20 feet from the edge of the roof to the ground. He sustained fractures in his arms and hands. He was taken to the Regional Medical Center of San Jose for treatment and was hospitalized. He was released on August 12, 2006.
