Employee's Hand Is Injured When Caught in Equipment

On March 9, 2006, Employee #1 was operating a device that transferred wood molding. When he attempted to free material that had jammed with his gloved right hand, it became caught in a rotating part of the equipment. Employee #1 was hospitalized for injuries to his hand that included fractured fourth and fifth fingers and palm lacerations.
