Investigation Summary

On Saturday February 17, 2007, Employee #1 apparently went to the facility to prepare semi-truck parts for painting. Employee #1 was cutting a piece of carpet when he apparently collapsed and died. Employee #1's body was discovered at approximately 7:00 p.m. on February 18, 2007. No painting equipment was found near Employee 1 and that it did not appear that he was painting at the time of his death. The County Coroner's chief investigator stated that an autopsy was conducted and that it did not appear to the pathologist that any painting activities had contributed to the death. He also stated that there was evidence of a heart condition that was responsible for the death.
