Employee Dies in Fall

On April 24, 2006, a framer was using a rough terrain forklift to lift a metal bin that was not secured. It contained construction tools and equipment for Employee #1, who was located on the third floor. When Employee #1 entered the bin from a window opening to remove the tools and equipment, the bin fell off of the forks of the lift. Employee #1 fell approximately 24 feet to the ground. He died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the fall.
